Meet our team

Thank you for visiting our page! We, the Toyo University Division II Rubber Ball Baseball Club, belong to the Tokyo New University Rubber Ball Baseball League and currently have a total of 41 members, including 31 players and 10 managers.

Our club is a student-led team, led by a student coach and captain, who hold discussions and put in repeated practice, working hard to hone their skills through friendly competition with their teammates.

In both the 2023 Spring League and the Fall League, we came just one step away from winning, and ended up in 4th place. As a new team, we are working to improve our team's level by clearing the challenges that arise one by one during our limited practice. In the 2024 Spring League, which was held recently, we came in 2nd place and have qualified to participate in the Kanto Block Tournament for the first time in several years. Starting in April, we will welcome our first-year students, and the tournaments will continue with the Rookie Tournament and the Kanto Block Tournament. With the determination to win every match, both players and managers will give it their all!!

Project Objective

Currently, Toyo University II Division Softball Club does not have its own ground, so we practice every week at rented grounds in Tokyo or the Kanto area. Many of our members live alone or live far from Tokyo. Since they must cover their own transportation costs to the ground, they have to give up on going to practice depending on the location, and they also have to balance their practice with part-time work. One of the concerns is the depletion of equipment.

We purchase the equipment necessary for the team using the club fees collected from the members, but the shortage of equipment is not easily resolved. The Kenko balls and rosin balls that we are requesting to receive are essential for daily practice and games. When we receive the balls, we hope to let supporters know about the existence of the Toyo University II Division Softball Team, and turn the support into energy to play with all our might.
