Meet our team
Our Tottori University Semi-Hardball Baseball Club was founded in 1949, and is a traditional club activity that is celebrating its 75th year this year. We were in the second division of the Chugoku District Semi-Hardball Baseball League, but this spring we won the second division league and also won the relegation match, and were promoted to the first division. We are currently practicing every day with the goal of winning the first division league.
Starting in April, we welcomed new freshmen and are now operating with a team of 35 players and 6 managers. Some of these players have been selected for the Chugoku District Select Team or the Western Japan Select Team, so I think the team as a whole is by no means a low-level team. In addition to players, some of our members participate in these tournaments as umpires and managers, contributing not only to our own team but also to the development of the semi-hardball baseball world as a whole.
Project Objective
Due to the location of Tottori, the team has to travel to other teams even to play practice matches, which costs a lot of money and means that personal expenses are also higher than at other universities.
In addition, due to the change in bat specifications this year, we need to spend money, so we have less money to spend on consumables. We have been managing with a small club budget, but we would like you to practice with semi-hard balls so that we can practice hard to win the league!
We will use the balls we received with gratitude every day, without forgetting that we owe them to the support of everyone who supported us! This year, we are practicing with stronger determination than ever before and working hard to achieve our goals! To achieve this, we need everyone's cooperation. Thank you very much!
