Meet our team
We, the Ryukoku University Women's Softball Club, belong to the Kansai League Division 2. The team works hard at practice every day as a team. Our goal is to reach the top four in the Western Japan Tournament.
And this year, We have decided to participate in the 75th All-Japan Women's Softball Championship! This will be our first appearance in about 20 years.
In addition, we will achieve "promotion to the first division" in the fall. The shape of the team is coming into sight, but there are still many issues to overcome in order to win.
The team itself is bright and the atmosphere is great! Since we have more players than usual, we will deepen our player base and work together to create the best team!!
In daily practice, students take the initiative in facing team issues, thinking up practice menus, and working on them proactively. In addition to group practice, students also practice individually before and after practice.
They also do weight training under the supervision of a trainer, working hard to build their bodies and improve their skills while having conversations with the trainer.
What's great about them is that they get along well regardless of their grade level!!
We trust each other and talk about everything from the most mundane things to the finer details of our play. However, there is still more to be done.
We will aim to get even better, create the best team with everyone, and give it our all on the field so that we can give back to as many people as possible through our play, so please support us!!!
Project Objective
Although we have little time to practice, we do our best to practice a lot and provide high quality practice. However, our equipment is aging and it is difficult to cover the costs with club fees and expenses.
Also, with the increase in our team members, we thought it would be nice to increase the number of balls a little more. We would like to change the practice environment in order to achieve our goals.
The balls we receive at the sashiire will be used for knocking and batting practice. We will swing and grip each ball with care, aiming to improve our skills.
We will continue to work to spread the joy of softball to as many people as possible.
We look forward to your support and CHEER UP!!
