Meet our team
The Japan University of Economics women's rugby club AMATERUS is a team that was founded four years ago and was promoted to a core team in the top league for the spring and summer seven-a-side season.
We are working hard every day to improve even more in preparation for our second season next year. In addition, we participated in the National Women's Rugby Football Championship for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022 in the 15-player season held every winter.
The 15-player season has begun again this year, and there is a long season ahead. Our goal is to become number one in Japan, so we are working hard every day as a team while enjoying rugby.
Project Objective
The reason I wanted to participate in this project was because I wanted people to become aware of and support the little-known sport of women's rugby, and the Japan University of Economics Women's Rugby Club AMATERUS.
In order to build the physiques necessary for the sport of rugby, we are engaged in hard training, including field training six days a week and weight training three days a week plus a little extra. We use up a lot of energy each day, and we want to consume whole-salted protein as an important protein source that cannot be replenished through food.
Protein plays an important role for athletes in terms of weight management and injury prevention. Taking protein after practice or training helps to recover from fatigue and increase muscle mass, and the protein you give us will definitely make us stronger, so please help us out!
