Meet our team
We, Meiji University Women's Baseball Club, are the first women's baseball team in the six universities to be founded in our second year. We currently have four coaches and managers and 24 players, so we are a small but lively team!
This summer, we played a Meikan match against the women's baseball team from Kwansei Gakuin University in Kyoto.
Although we were disappointed to lose, we are working hard to erase that disappointment and become a stepping stone for women's hardball baseball!
Project Objective
Through this project, we hope to contribute to the development of women's baseball. In recent years, with events such as the Women's Koshien and the Sister Javits Cup, baseball has gradually become more familiar to women in junior and senior high schools.
However, there are fewer opportunities to play hardball baseball at university, and many female players give up baseball once they enter university.
In order to meet the expectations of these players, the current coach enrolled at Meiji University and founded a women's baseball club.
The balls and bats donated by you will be used in practice and games.
Since we are in our second year since establishment and we have very little baseball equipment, your help with the Sashiire will be a great help.
I will never forget my gratitude to everyone who supports me and will do my best to achieve even more victories!
