Meet our team

Our Kyoto Sangyo University Women's Softball Club belongs to the Kansai Division 2 League.

The club has 20 members in total, including 18 players and 2 managers. They practice hard every day with the goal of participating in the Western Japan Intercollegiate Championships every year.

This year, we were able to participate in the Western Japan Intercollegiate Championships, and we were able to achieve one of our goals. Our team slogan is "Smile x Unity."

We create a team atmosphere with everyone's smiles, and we value fighting with everyone's strength, not with individual strength. Although we are a small team, each member has a strong personality, and the team's characteristic is that they can express that individuality. We believe that by making use of each individual's personality, we can demonstrate strength beyond the number of members. For this reason, we communicate with each other across grade levels, not just during practice, but on a daily basis, and strive to understand each other.

The grounds are located in an area rich in nature, and are by no means in a well-maintained environment, but the team works hard every day practicing, making use of ingenuity. The content of practice is decided through consultation each time, so the team can work on practicing while facing their own issues. In addition, the players decide on the tactics for the game and signs among themselves, so being able to utilize each player's strengths is a great strength. Because it is a student-led team, each member has a sense of responsibility for their role, which leads to skills that can be utilized in the future.

In addition, we value courtesy and are working to build a team that can improve humanity through softball. In addition to club activities, our club members also balance their studies and part-time jobs. They are playing the softball they love while thinking about their future.
