Meet our team
Thank you very much for your continued support and encouragement for the Kyoto Sangyo University Men's Lacrosse Club, Vigorous.
Currently, the team has 53 players and 19 staff members. In the 34th Kansai Student Lacrosse League, which begins in July, the team is practicing hard every day to achieve its goals of winning the second division and being promoted to the first division for the first time in nine years, and winning the rookie tournament.

Of course, we also aim to "conquer Kansai and beyond."
However, rather than just pursuing victory, lacrosse also develops the humanity and social skills of young adults who are one step away from entering the workforce.
We are able to carry out our daily activities thanks to the people we are involved with, and their support gives us strength.
We believe that the most important thing in our activities is to be able to empathize with the people who watch our games, and each and every member of the club works towards achieving our goals with the belief that "We think, therefore we are strong."
Activity record
Founded in 1991
In 1992, the team first participated in the Kansai Student Lacrosse League Division 2.
In 2001, the club was approved by the university and became the men's lacrosse club.
2002: Relegated to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 3
In 2003, the team won all games in the Kansai Lacrosse Division 3 and was promoted to the Division 2.
In 2004, the team placed 2nd in the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 2. They won the promotion/relegation match against the 7th-place team in Division 1 and were promoted to Division 1.
In 2005, they won the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 1 and participated in the All Japan Championships.
From 2006 to 2010, the team repeatedly finished 2nd and 3rd in the Kansai Lacrosse League.
2011: Relegated to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 2
In 2012, the team was promoted to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 1.
2014: 2nd place in the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 1.
2016: 3rd place in the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 1.
In 2018, the team was demoted to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 2.
In 2021, the team was relegated to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 3.
2022: Team philosophy established. Team name is "Vigorous".
Promoted to the Kansai Lacrosse League Division 2 in 2023.
Project Objective
In men's lacrosse, players wear protective gear such as helmets while playing the game.
Most of the players start at university, so training under the scorching sun in the summer is very tough for the first-year players. The staff also support the players every day without worrying about getting sunburned.
That's why sports drinks are essential for preventing heatstroke and replenishing energy.
We, the Kyoto Sangyo University Men's Lacrosse Club, are active five days a week, and while we have a great number of members, we do face challenges such as a shortage of necessary equipment and the rapid consumption of consumables.
Among them, the products I chose this time were "Salt Charge" and "Aquarius". I use them in my regular training, and as a result, they have helped prevent heatstroke and dehydration in my athletes.
I will use the ingredients I received to train hard and build up a physique that can withstand the summer heat.
We would like to repay the support we have received by achieving our goal of winning the second division and getting promoted to the first division.
