Meet our team
The Kyoto University Semi-Hardball Baseball Club belongs to the Kyoto-Shiga Six Universities Semi-Hardball Baseball League, and currently has a total of 25 members, including 20 players and 5 managers. The team works hard every day with the goal of winning the Kansai Regional Tournament, which they can enter by finishing in the top positions in the league.
The team won the 2023 Kyoto-Shiga Six Universities Spring League and advanced to the first round of the Kansai Regional Tournament, but unfortunately was unable to secure victory.
Project Objective
In semi-hardball baseball, the standard of bats used will change from this spring, and a lot of club expenses have been allocated to purchasing them. Furthermore, the financial burden on each player is expected to increase due to rising federation registration fees, making it difficult to expect any further revenue.
Among these, the semi-hard balls used in practice are subject to high levels of wear, and players often play catch or practice with balls that are chipped or cracked.
We requested support this time because semi-hard balls are expensive and wear out quickly. We would like to use the semi-hard balls we received to improve our defense, which is an issue, and practice so that we can achieve our goals. We look forward to your support.
