CHEER UP! for Konan University Tennis Club

This is the Hosei University Athletic Association Tennis Club. We at Hosei University belong to the first division of the Kanto University Tennis League, and we practice every day with the goal of competing in the championship. Our club was founded in 1919 and has a history of 105 years, during which we have participated in the All Japan University Tennis Championship 14 times (6 wins, 6 runner-ups). In addition, we have been established in the Kanto Division 1 League for 25 years since 1998, and have produced many winners, winning pairs, and many top-ranked players in individual matches in the All Japan Student Tennis Championships. Our recent results are as follows: 2022 Team Match: Kanto League Division 1 3rd place, Individual Match: Intercollegiate Indoor Championship (doubles) 2023 Team Match: Kanto League Division 1 3rd place, Individual Match: Intercollegiate Championship (doubles). Club activities are based on 6 days a week, with one day of practice on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, members are trained to improve their physical strength through running training and weight training twice a week under the supervision of a Universiade trainer.
