Meet our team
Keio University Sports Association Rowing Club.
The team consists of 60 members, including 51 players and 9 managers.
We spend over 300 days a year in training camp, practicing every day with the goal of becoming number one in Japan. In 2023, we will celebrate our 134th year since the club was founded, and we are proud of our many brilliant achievements.
In the past three years, they have achieved the following results: 3rd place in the Intercollegiate Men's Eight, 3rd place in the All Japan Championships Four, and 2nd place in the Lightweight Women's Pair. In the past, they have participated in five Olympic Games, been active in many world championships, and won their fifth consecutive victory at the Waseda-Keio Regatta in 2016.
Project Objective
They are now training harder and striving to become number one in Japan, which has been elusive for a long time. In terms of diet, some players are eating 1kg of rice per meal to build up their bodies.
Taping is necessary to protect the hands from injuries such as blisters and blisters that occur during daily practice. I will use the rice I received from Sashiire this time carefully so that I can practice more and more, in order to become even stronger and aim to be the best in Japan.
If there are people who support us, all the members of the club would be happy if you could meet up with us. Thank you very much. We look forward to your CHEER UP!
