Meet our team
Our Kansai University Rubber Ball Club is a member of the All Japan University Rubber Ball Association and the Kansai Six Universities Rubber Ball Association, and we practice every day with the goal of competing in the national tournament.
Currently, our club has a total of 40 members, including 36 players and 4 managers.
In the 2023 Spring League and Fall League, we placed third. At the end of June, we participated in the Kansai Block Tournament, which was held for the second and third place teams from the four Kansai leagues, but unfortunately we finished as runners-up, falling just short of qualifying for the national tournament.
The new team started in October and won the rookie tournament. The members, especially the seniors, are remembering the disappointment of not being able to compete at the nationals, and are working harder than ever to practice every day!
Project Objective
Our department receives a great deal of support on a daily basis from alumni and other related parties.
Through this one-on-one event, all the members of the club would like to once again express their gratitude for the support that has allowed us to play baseball, and we hope to repay that support by achieving our goal of competing in the national tournament.
However, because we are a club, we receive less support than the sports club. In recent years, the self-restraint period due to the coronavirus has disappeared, so we have increased the number of practice matches and training camps and are working hard every day to beat the sports clubs of other universities.
In addition, our team has issues with batting, so we focus on batting practice in particular. As a result, balls and bats wear out quickly, and the team's baseball equipment is now low.
If things continue as they are, we will not have enough equipment and will have to reduce the number of practice matches and practices, so if you can give us any personal items, we would like to use them carefully and get a ticket to the national tournament.
We look forward to receiving lots of CHEER UP from you all!
We would appreciate your support for us!
