The school has participated in the National Athletic Meet three times.

In 2009, they were the runner-up in the selection tournament, and in the same year, they made it to the top four in the championship tournament, and were awarded the Iwate Prefectural Honor Award. After that, they continued to achieve brilliant results, making it to the top four, top eight, and top 16 in the Koshien tournament.

While many of the school's graduates have gone on to study at national or public universities or prestigious private universities, Yusei Kikuchi and Shohei Otani are currently active in the major leagues in the United States. They were also named Rookie of the Year and MVP.

In addition, the school has produced 12 professional baseball players in the past, and many graduates go on to play in amateur baseball teams.

With a teaching philosophy of "Rather than raising baseball players, raising respectable people who can also play baseball," the students learn how to think and live through baseball classes, and together with their teammates, aim to become "number one in Japan from Iwate."

Project Objective

Thank you for your continued support of the Hanamaki Higashi High School Baseball Team!
We are also grateful for this opportunity. We work together every day to practice and live our school life with the concept of "From Iwate to No. 1 in Japan."

However, we have a large number of members, and we are constantly struggling to prepare the match balls needed for the many practice matches in which players in each category can gain some practical experience. We would appreciate your help in this matter.

We will continue to work hard, always remembering to play baseball to the best of our ability and to be grateful to all those who support us. And we promise to achieve our goal of winning the Koshien tournament, and to each of us to contribute to the community in the future!
