Meet our team
Nice to meet you! We are the Gifu Keizai University Softball Club!
The team's slogan is "No.pain, No.gain," and it consists of 17 members, including 16 players and 1 manager.
Although we have no fourth-year students and are a small team, we are practicing hard every day with the goal of competing in the Intercollegiate Championships!
We are currently in the Tokai League Division II. As a first step towards participating in the Intercollegiate Championships, we are aiming to be promoted to Division I and are taking on the Tokai University Women's Softball League! In the 2024 Tokai University Women's Softball Spring League, we placed 2nd in Division II. And we made it all the way to the relegation match.
Through the daily activities where they improve together with their teammates, they establish independence and self-reliance, and each and every one of them takes softball seriously, plays with all their might, and always has a spirit of challenge, and works hard!

We decided to participate in this project because we wanted to solve the major issues of lack of environment and funding.
Currently, many of the club members pay for club fees and other activity costs while juggling part-time jobs and their studies.
In this situation, we believe that we must avoid a situation where we are unable to carry out our activities fully due to the financial burden.
However, we are currently spending a lot of money on transportation to tournaments and games, accommodation, monthly club fees, etc. In addition, we do not have our own grounds, so we have to pay ground fees. We have decided to participate in three tournaments in August and September, so we need to practice a lot in preparation for the tournaments. The balls we inherited from our predecessors are also becoming deformed as we practice more. The funds needed to purchase new equipment and improve the environment cannot be covered by club fees or school support alone, so we have made the difficult decision to increase club fees.
In the midst of all this, we were approached about the "CHEER UP! Sashiire Project" and decided to participate in it in the hopes of receiving support from everyone.
We will practice hard every day with the balls we received, and never forget our gratitude to those who support us on a daily basis, as well as everyone who supported us this time. We will approach softball more sincerely than ever before, and hope to give back in the form of a victory!
We would love your support to SHEER UP!
