Meet our team
Hello. This is the Fukuoka University Women's Softball Club. We are a small team of 17 members, but we are player-centered and practice hard every day. We practice six times a week, focusing on actual game situations, improving the quality of the overall practice, and each member also works on their own individual tasks.
This year (2024), the team won the Kyushu Regional University Women's Softball Spring Tournament for the first time in nine years. Although they lost in the first round of the All-Japan Intercollegiate Championships, they have used this disappointment as a springboard to practice every day as a new team with the goal of becoming number one in Japan.
Project Objective
The team practices six times a week and the training is intense, which wears down the balls quickly. It is difficult to continue high-quality training with just the club fees and subsidies from the university.
In order to maintain the quality of practice, it is necessary to practice with balls in good condition, but in reality, we are knocking and teeing with balls that are very different from the match balls. If you support balls through the Sashiire Project, we will be able to practice in a better environment.
