Meet our team
The Ehime University School of Medicine Semi-Hardball Baseball Club belongs to the Shikoku District University Semi-Hardball Baseball League, and currently has a total of 22 members, including 14 players and 8 managers! All of the executives are students, and participation in league matches, tournaments, and training camps is all run by students.
Last year, the team achieved their long-awaited promotion to the first division in the spring league, but was disappointed with a loss in the second round of the Western Japan Medical Students General Athletic Meet in August, the biggest tournament for medical students. This year, all members of the team are practicing with all their might, aiming for even greater heights. Despite being busy with practical training and exams every day, they gather on the ground for a short time, with the desire to devote themselves to baseball, especially now that they are university students, and are working towards the spring league, the Chugoku-Shikoku Tournament, the Western Medical Athletic Meet, and more.
We will post updates on our activities and match results on Instagram and Facebook, so please check them out if you have time! Our team goal is to win the Western Japan Medical Students General Athletic Meet, and we will continue to work hard to achieve that goal!

Project Objective
Most of us, the members of the Ehime University School of Medicine semi-hardball baseball team, live alone. We have a lot of tests and practical training on a daily basis, so we are unable to work part-time jobs, and this spring, the team's expenses have increased significantly due to the change in bat specifications. In addition, the fatal lack of balls, which made it difficult to practice properly, was highlighted during the spring training camp held in March.
However, due to the nature of the region, we have to go outside the prefecture even for practice games, and we have many expenses other than equipment, such as travel expenses, so we decided that even if we were to purchase new balls, the current members could no longer cover the cost, and so we decided to participate in the CHEER UP! Project. We will use the balls we received carefully in practice and games, and we will work hard as a team to play semi-hardball baseball so that we can give good news to everyone who has played with us, and we would appreciate your support. Thank you for reading to the end. We look forward to your continued support of the Ehime University School of Medicine Semi-Hardball Baseball Club.
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
