Meet our team
This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the Nippon Sport Science University men's softball team's founding.
It has a long tradition in the softball world, and it was our university's softball team that popularized the "windmill pitching" style in Japan.
In their daily activities, they strive to improve their skills and humanity, striving to become pioneers in university softball.
We will continue to carry on our traditions and strive to reach even greater heights .

For 2023, the team theme will be "independence," and we are practicing every day with the goal of "reclaiming the Intercollegiate Championships title and finishing in the top four overall in Japan," so that each member can think and act independently and become a team that is supported by others.
After graduation, students contribute to the spread and development of men's softball by working in the Japan League, the highest level in the world of men's softball, or as teachers or coaches.
Project Objective
We participated in this project as a place to connect with all of you who support us.
We heard many stories from parents and through messages on social media about how they were unable to attend distance trips and games, so we learned about this project and decided to participate.
[Reason for using a ball]
Our school mainly focuses on practical training, and our pitchers have fastballs that exceed 125km/h, which are impressive in terms of speed and power.
In addition, because there are many practice matches, the balls are often damaged or deformed with each throw, making them unusable.
Because the ball wears out quickly due to the power and speed unique to men, we decided to use a softball ball this time to provide a similar feel to a match and to provide good practice.
When we are given the opportunity to practice, we will work hard every day with gratitude, striving for higher quality practice.
We will continue to work hard so that we can report good performances and results to everyone who supports us!
