Meet our team
The Nagoya University of Commerce baseball team belongs to the Aichi University Baseball League and boasts a tradition dating back nearly half a century since its founding.
Our department has many attractions.
First of all, the well-equipped facilities are attractive.
The outfield is made of artificial turf and there is a ground exclusively for the baseball team that is also used for official matches.
There is also a rain practice field and a training room, so you can practice effectively even on rainy days.
We also have a dormitory.
Many of our members come from far away, and we all cooperate with each other.
Generally, meals are provided in the morning and evening, and you can eat meals supervised by a nutritionist.
The manager will be Kosuke Akamatsu, a former member of our club who was previously with the Orix Buffaloes and has also had a successful career as a player and coach in the independent league.
We receive regular training guidance and physical care from external trainers, and we also receive cooperation from people outside the club.
Project Objective
The items provided will be used during daily practice and external matches to further improve the players' skills and help achieve our club's goal of promotion to the first division.
We are primarily run by the club fees paid by the players each month.
In recent years, due to rising prices, it is not always possible to practice in a satisfactory environment or with satisfactory equipment, including the balls used for practice.
However, as our balls are wearing out quickly and we have little financial means, we have decided to participate and would appreciate your support.
Frayed balls make irregularities more likely to occur and pose safety hazards, so new balls are a top priority.
We hope that this project will provide an opportunity to deepen interactions with alumni, their families, friends, and supporters, and to help them learn more about the team.
All members of the club are aware that we are a group that is supported by many different people, and we will play with a sense of gratitude, work hard to achieve promotion to the first division, and give back to everyone who has supported us.
We look forward to receiving your CHEER UP!
