Meet our team
Our Doshisha University Women's Softball Club belongs to the Kansai League Division 1. Under the motto of "A team loved by all our team members" and the slogan "join us," we practice every day toward our goal of becoming the best in Japan.

Results: 2019 All Japan Intercollegiate Championships Best 8
2022 Fall League 3rd place
Rookie Tournament Winner
2023 Spring League Runner-up
Participated in the All Japan Intercollegiate Championships 3 times
A distinctive feature of the team is that the students are the ones who take the lead in managing the matches, creating practice menus, and even administrative tasks such as arranging buses and accommodations. They also find time to attend lectures to learn specialized knowledge and study hard for their dreams for the future.
Although we are in a limited environment and time, each member is thinking independently and facing softball with the aim of high-quality practice. As stated in the team motto, the whole team will fight together, impress the many people at the venue with their play and their actions off the field, and improve their level to become the best in Japan.
Project Objective
We are working to provide the highest quality practice possible under the limited time and environment. We receive regular support from alumni to cover operating expenses, and we cover the shortfall with our part-time job earnings, but the situation is tough.
I decided to participate in this project because I wanted to improve my equipment and practice better in order to achieve my goal of becoming number one in Japan at the Intercollegiate Championships.
We will use the balls that you have provided us with to put our gratitude into each ball and to provide higher quality knocking and batting practice.
Furthermore, through this activity, we hope to spread the word about college softball to even more people.
