Meet our team

We are the Tokushima Bunri University group! Our motto is to dance energetically and with fun, and we practice hard every day. We mainly practice every day in preparation for the summer Awa Odori festival, and we also perform at various other events.

The characteristics of our dance are the men's formation, where we move quickly in a triangular shape while shouting "Seiya," and the women's "Sassa" dance, where we dance while clacking wooden clogs. And the performance of the bells, flutes, shamisen, shime-daiko, and odaiko drums, all in unison, is fascinating.

Project Objective

Through this project, we hope to reach those who don't know about the Tokushima Bunri University Federation or who have no interest in it, and to help them learn at least a little about the charm of Awa Odori!

This time, the products that we are requesting to be served will be consumed by the members during practice and breaks from August 1st until the summer performance during the Obon festival. We will do our best to deliver a dance that will energize all viewers, carrying the feelings of those who have served us.
