Meet our team
This is the Oyama Nishi High School baseball team.
Thank you very much for your continued support and encouragement.
Our school is the newest full-time general education high school in the prefecture (excluding consolidations and closures), and will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.
Under the slogan "Bring in a breath of fresh air," the baseball team has also been a pioneer in liberalizing social media usage and hairstyles, areas that are no longer uncommon today.
In addition, despite being a prefectural school, the baseball team has an impressive track record, having participated in the Kanto Tournament three times and in Koshien in 2002.
However, the current situation is that the team has not even made it to the quarterfinals of the prefectural tournament for over 10 years.
In order to break this situation, the old team's motto was "Weed Spirit," while the current team's motto is "Weeds Strike Back," and they are practicing hard every day with the aim of competing in Koshien for the second time.
Project Objective
In recent years, our school's baseball club has been struggling with a decline in the number of members, but this year 20 new students joined the club, and the grounds are full of energy. With the increase in the number of members, there is currently a shortage of balls, which are a consumable item. However, due to the recent rise in prices, the school budget and club fees alone are not enough to cover the costs.
Therefore, I decided to participate in this project in the hope of receiving your support. Through this project, I hope to deepen my relationship with alumni, family, friends, and supporters, and feel their feelings closer to me.
We hope that this will be an opportunity for people to learn more about our school's baseball team.
We cherish the gratitude of "thank you" and the humility of "thanks to you," and aim to be a "beloved team"!
