Meet our team
Numazu Chuo High School is a traditional school that celebrated its 100th anniversary last year.
Numazu Chuo High School Boys Basketball Club,
This is a team with a rich tradition, having participated in the Inter-High School Championships four times, the Winter Cup five times, and placed third in the national tournament in 2011.
This year, the team came in second in the Shizuoka Prefectural Rookie Tournament (qualifying for the Tokai Tournament) and second in the Shizuoka Prefectural Inter-High School Championships (qualifying for the Tokai Tournament), and is also making its first appearance in the Nisshin Tokai Block League.
We are just one step away from winning the Shizuoka Prefecture championship.
We are practicing hard every day with the aim of winning the Shizuoka Prefectural Winter Cup qualifying tournament coming up in November.
Project Objective
Our school has many students from outside the prefecture, including an exchange student from Nigeria. Therefore, most of the students live in the dormitory. Also, every day after practice, all the members eat a meal to keep in shape.
However, due to the recent price hike and rice shortage, we are in a situation where we are running out of rice in the dormitory, and we are currently in a very difficult situation. Therefore, we would like to ask everyone who supports us every day to donate rice to us through CHERR UP!
We held the same event last year, where we asked for donations and received 500kg of rice.
I am very grateful.
This time too, we will make the most of the gifts we receive, train our bodies, and work hard to achieve the best results in the Winter Cup preliminaries!
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
