Meet our team

We are the Hosei University Athletic Association Tennis Club (Men's). Our Hosei University team is in the first division of the Kanto University Tennis League, and we practice every day with the goal of competing for the championship.

Our club was founded in 1919 and has a history of 105 years. During that time, we have participated in the All Japan Inter-University Tennis Championships 14 times (6 wins, 6 runner-ups). In addition, we have been a part of the Kanto Division 1 League for 25 years since 1998, and have produced many winners, winning pairs, and many top-ranked players in individual matches at the All Japan Student Tennis Championships.

Recent achievements include: 2022 Team competition: 3rd place in Kanto League Division 1, Individual competition: Intercollegiate Indoor Championship (doubles) 2023 Team competition: 3rd place in Kanto League Division 1, Individual competition: Intercollegiate Championship (doubles). Club activities are based on 6 days a week, with one day of practice on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, members improve their physical strength through running training and weight training twice a week under the guidance of the trainer of the Japan National Tennis Team at the University Games.

Project Objective

The Kanto Student Tennis Championships will be held from late September to November. The DUNLOP FORT (tennis balls) that you will be supporting are the official balls for the tournament, and are also consumable items that are often used during regular practice.

DNS Energy Jelly will also be extremely important for recovery and nutritional support in the upcoming tournament. Your support is essential to help us recover our stamina after each match and always perform at our best.

We will make the most of the sashiire we receive and work together as a team to achieve our team goals. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
