Meet our team
Thank you for your constant support! We, the Akita University Baseball Club, belong to the second division of the North Tohoku University Baseball League, and under the motto of "The most united and tenacious in North Tohoku," we work hard every day to achieve our goals.
This year, we set our goal as "winning more than we lose" and fought hard, but we fell just short, coming in third place with 5 wins and 5 losses in both the spring and autumn tournaments. However, we are gradually improving our level, with victories over the championship team and all of our players playing well in the games.
For next year, we have set three goals: "Get out of third place," "Win all games against national and public universities," and "Win two games against private universities." In order to achieve all three of these goals, we will work hard together while balancing our part-time jobs and studies!
Project Objective
We have no source of income, and we cooperate and cover all the costs of gasoline, rental cars, participation fees, equipment, etc. for each league match, and I'm ashamed to say that we are always living on the edge. In order to achieve our goal and to improve our own level, we need many game balls, so we decided to participate in this project.
We will keep in mind that we are able to play baseball because of the people who support and cheer us on every day, and we will work hard together so that each and every one of us can shine in the game and achieve our goals next year! Thank you for your support!
