Meet our team

Thank you for your continued support!
Our Yokohama National University baseball team is currently in the first division of the Kanagawa University Baseball League. We have only 67 members across four years, which is not a large number, and we do not have any sports recommendations, but we practice every day to overcome such "adversity" with hard work and determination, and to win against the powerful private universities.

The most distinctive feature of the team is that it is "student-led." Most of the activities are run by students, including devising practice menus, scheduling exhibition games and camps, managing funds, PR activities, running the supporters' club, and analyzing data. Each student takes it personally and thinks about "what is lacking to win?" and "what should we do to make the team more attractive," and shares their opinions to aim for greater heights.

This spring's league matches were tough, and we ended up with disappointing results of "0 points" and "last place in the first division league." However, we came together as a team to win the relegation match, and were able to grab the right to take revenge in the first division league again next season. This summer, we will take a good look at ourselves and practice even harder so that we can give back to everyone who supports us at all times with results.

Project Objective

Our club relies on club fees from current members for the majority of our income, and we are chronically struggling with financial difficulties. Even if there is something we want to buy, we often have to hold off or wait until we have more room in the budget.
This year has been particularly tough for the club, as they have had to replace their old bike and the number of club members is lower than usual.

In order to achieve results in the fall league, it is important that we are able to play as productively as possible during the summer exhibition games. Therefore, we would like to ask for your support in providing game balls for the summer exhibition games and sports drink powder to prevent heatstroke.
We will use each and every item carefully, keeping in mind the thoughts of all of you. We will also do whatever it takes to win points in the fall league and give back to all of you with results, so we will do our best in our summer activities. Thank you for your support!
