Meet our team
This is the Tohoku University Alumni Association Ski Club.
In the summer, we do the muscle training and running needed for skiing in the school gym or on the nearby riverbank.
During the winter, we practice in various locations, including Hokkaido, Tohoku, and Koshinetsu, in preparation for three major competitions.
In terms of results, last year the team won the overall men's and women's competition at the Kyushu National University Ski Championships, placed 12th in the men's division 2 at the Intercollegiate Championships, and placed 5th in the women's division 2.
This year, we will work hard during the upcoming season to surpass last year's results and ensure that each and every member of the team excels!
Project Objective
I decided to participate in this project because I wanted to increase the number of people who know about and support the Tohoku University Alumni Ski Club, and also to deepen the connections with those who already support us.
In addition, because ski racing involves a large financial burden, each member of the club tries to save money by working part-time jobs, but many still struggle financially.
We appreciate your support! In addition, skiing competitions are held in harsh environments with low temperatures, so it is essential to replenish nutrients before the start and during practice.
