Meet our team
We, the Shimane University Softball Club, are practicing hard every day with the goal of winning one game at the Western Japan Intercollegiate Championships and competing in the All-Japan Intercollegiate Championships.
Our club was founded quite recently, and this year marks our 8th year.
There are no coaches and the club is run entirely by students, with friendly teams across all grade levels.
Project Objective
Since our university is a national university, it is difficult to receive support for club activities from the university.
There are also limited places to practice, and we can only use the university grounds one day a week, so we have to practice at the city grounds two days a week.
We collect monthly club fees from our members, but most of that goes to using the grounds, so we don't have enough money to buy new balls and we're managing to get through practice using around 30 old balls.
The balls we received through this project will be used for regular practice such as knocking and batting, and we hope to work hard in preparation for the Western Japan Intercollegiate Championships and the All-Japan Intercollegiate Championships.
We need not only our strength, but also your support. Thank you.
