Meet our team
Our Shimane University semi-hardball baseball team is currently made up of 7 fourth-year students, 4 third-year students, 18 second-year students, and 8 first-year students. Of these, 30 are players and 8 are managers, and we have a wide variety of members, including those with no baseball experience, inexperienced players, and former high school baseball players. With the motto of "Just enjoy baseball!", the members practice hard together and strive to improve every day.
Project Objective
In the semi-hardball baseball club, expenses are mounting due to the accumulating wear and tear on various equipment and the introduction of new standard bats, and they are doing their best just to keep the club active.
In addition, there are few organizations in the surrounding area that play semi-hardball baseball, and games often require traveling outside the prefecture, which results in higher expenses than usual.
Furthermore, there are only about 50 balls that can be used for practice, and purchasing new balls would be too financially difficult for the club members. Therefore, they decided to raise funds by participating in the CHEER UP! Project.
We will use the balls that were donated to us in our daily activities and will practice hard so that we can give good news to those who have been playing with us. We appreciate your continued support for the Shimane University Semi-Hardball Baseball Club. Thank you for reading to the end!
