Meet our team
Our Osaka University of Commerce semi-hardball baseball club has a total of 28 members: 24 players, 3 managers, and 1 student coach.
Two years ago, our team participated in the All Japan Championships and made it to the top 8. The team is run mainly by students, and although we are in a limited environment, we are working hard every day practicing with the goal of winning the league, participating in the Kansai Championships, and then participating in the National Championships again.
The spring league has now begun, and we are giving it our all in every game, aiming for our 70th championship!
Project Objective
Our club does not have its own grounds, so we practice at a baseball field in Osaka Prefecture. This year, we have had difficulty gathering enough people, and the number of members has decreased. Because of this, we do not have enough club funds and are unable to rent a ground. As a result, the burden on the students themselves increases, and they may not be able to participate in practice and may have no choice but to quit. Therefore, by donating balls, which are consumables, we will be able to increase the number of practices that can be done within the time allotted, which will lead to improved skills for the players! Therefore, we participated in this project in the hope of receiving your support.
We will continue to work hard every day thanks to the support we have received through this project. Finally, we would like to thank the family members of the team members, alumni, and other related parties for your continued support and encouragement. With the support we have received this time, we would like to work harder than ever in practice and matches, and repay you with results. All the team members look forward to your CHEER UP!
