Meet our team
Hello! Thank you for visiting our page! We, the Osaka Ohtani University softball team, are made up of 31 members, including 26 players and 5 managers. We do not have a manager or coach, and are only made up of students.
In last year's spring league, we were in the Kinki Student Softball League's second division, with a disappointing result of 2 wins and 5 losses. However, we played many practice games, including an expedition to Okinawa during the summer vacation, and in last year's fall league, we came in second with 5 wins and 2 losses, narrowly missing out on the championship. However, we won the relegation match with 2 wins and 1 loss, and were promoted to the first division. In this year's spring league, we are practicing every day with the goal of participating in the national tournament.
Project Objective
Our softball club is struggling daily with a lack of funds, a lack of environment, and a lack of equipment. Many of our members live alone, and all of us are juggling part-time jobs with club activities while paying for club fees and our own equipment. We love baseball. We want to avoid a situation where we can no longer play baseball due to financial problems. However, the burden of transportation fees to tournaments, participation fees, equipment fees, monthly club fees, and even field fees, which I don't have my own field, is very heavy.
As we continue to practice, our equipment deteriorates over time, and we often have to collect additional club fees. We decided to participate in this project because the support from the school is no longer enough to cover many expenses. We hope to practice harder than ever before and give back to the families and other people involved who support us every day if we receive support this time. We look forward to your CHEER UP!
