Our Niigata University semi-hardball baseball team consists of first-year to third-year students who are always smiling and practicing seriously. Our members come from all over Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Shimane in the south. The team members get along well with each other and have great teamwork!!
Last year, we won the Hokushinetsu Tournament and advanced to the national tournament. All the members of the team came together and made a winning streak, including defeating the powerful Kinki University, to reach the top 16 in the national tournament!
Since the team does not have an adult coach, the players plan their practice menus and play matches among themselves. With the goal of "surpassing last year" as the goal for this year, all the members are challenging themselves every day with the motto of having fun playing.
Project Objective
Through this project, the players will practice even harder with the balls that have been provided to them, and hope to give back to the people who support them and the local community through their results and dedicated play.
Since our club activities are run by students, there are times when we have difficulty procuring equipment. If you would like, we would appreciate your help. Thank you.
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
