Meet our team
Nanzan University Men's Lacrosse Club is aiming to be the best in Japan with the slogan "Joker." The name "Joker" represents the idea that each individual player will shine as a special trump card and become a group that excites everyone who supports them and those around them.
In the 2023 Tokai Student Lacrosse League, they won the Tokai region for the first time in four years (with Nanzan University winning both men's and women's championships) and participated in the All Japan Championships. However, they lost to Nippon Sport Science University and finished third in the nation (the best result since the club was founded), just short of becoming Japan's best.
With the new team structure, we are keeping this disappointment in our hearts and practicing every day.
Project Objective
When we played against Nippon Sport Science University in the All Japan Championships, we felt that one of the issues we need to address in order to compete at a high level next year and beyond is our physical condition. Therefore, we need to thoroughly train our bodies during the off-season.
However, many of our members have a lot of money to spend on practice equipment and travel expenses, and cannot afford to purchase protein on an ongoing basis. For this reason, we have chosen protein as our personal item, so that your support can be directly converted into our strength.
By drinking the protein that you have given us, we will become bigger and stronger and once again aim to become the best student team in Japan. Furthermore, through this project, we hope to increase our connections with all the people who support us, including alumni, families, relatives, and local people, and work together to create a "Strong Nanzan."
I look forward to meeting you one-on-one!!
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
