Meet our team

Thank you for visiting this page. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and encouragement of the Kansai High School Tennis Club.

Currently, we have a total of 17 members: 7 third-year students, 4 second-year students, and 6 first-year students.

The team is practicing hard every day in order to achieve their long-awaited first victory in the team competition at the National High School Inter-High Championships, which begins in August.

As a team, we aim to be "number one in Japan." But we don't just want to win. We want to keep trying. And we want to be a group that is "admired, loved, and supported" by the local community.

Project Objective

We were selected to represent the Chugoku region in the 46th National High School Tennis Tournament held in March this year, but we were defeated in the quarterfinals by a strong school that had won the tournament five times in a row, and we were disappointed to finish in the top eight. However, we are practicing every day with the aim of winning the team competition at the Inter-High School Championships this summer. Although we were disappointed at the tournament, we received a lot of support from various quarters, including school officials and local residents, which gave us a lot of strength. Furthermore, after the tournament, we gained many fans, and we are working even harder. When participating in this project, we were able to hear many people say, "I want to support the Kansai High School Tennis Club."

We would like to make use of this generous donation in the form of balls to use in practice. One of the reasons we asked for this donation is that the Kansai High School Tennis Club has many practice matches throughout the year and uses up a huge amount of balls. We will always be grateful to everyone who is involved with and supports the Kansai High School Tennis Club, and will do our utmost to win the Inter-High School Championships this summer. Your support will give our club members a boost, so please support us!
