Meet our team
Hello everyone! This is the Hosei University baseball team!
First of all, thank you for visiting our page.
The Hosei University baseball team was founded in 1962 and is a member of the Tokyo Big Six Baseball League. We currently practice 4-5 days a week with the goal of winning the league championship and becoming the best in Japan.
In addition, our softball club places great importance on creating a student-led organization. The club is run by a student manager, student coaches, and captain, and strategies and practice menus are all thought up by students. Therefore, although we don't have a coach, the players work hard and teach each other to improve their level! This season, we won our league matches for the sixth time in a row, a first in history, and grabbed a ticket to the All Japan Championship, sharing the joy with our best teammates.
However, in the All Japan Championships held in Osaka in November, we lost after a close match, and ended up in the best 16, which was a very disappointing result. Next season, we will finally fight to win the league for the seventh consecutive time and to become the best in Japan. No matter what difficulties we face, we will keep running with our best teammates to grab the long-awaited title, so please support us with your personal matches and cheers!

Project Objective
Our Hosei University baseball team is a member of the Tokyo Big Six Baseball League, and as mentioned above, is a student-led organization.
A student-led organization is very meaningful in that it encourages students to improve themselves by working hard together, but on the other hand, it also means that the financial burden is very heavy because it is student-led.
In order to aim for great heights as a team, when joining the club, it is necessary to purchase a uniform backpack, uniforms for official matches, hats, cleats, etc., which is by no means cheap, costing about 60,000 yen. In addition, the annual training camp expenses, the Six Universities Baseball League association fees, player registration fees, insurance fees, and many other travel expenses come to a total of more than 200,000 yen.
In addition, the participation fees, accommodation, and travel expenses for the All-Japan University Rubber Ball Baseball Championship and the All-Japan University Rubber Ball Baseball Selection Tournament, which we are participating in, total over 100,000 yen per person, which is a considerable financial burden. Of course, we are grateful for the support of our alumni.
However, in order to further develop the team, we are currently unable to afford the costs of purchasing balls, bats, and helmets. In addition, because we are conducting activities outside of the athletics club, we are receiving very little support from the university.
For these reasons, we would like to ask for your support in providing balls through the Sashiire Cheer Up Project. We plan to use each and every ball you donate carefully in practice and matches! We will strive to improve ourselves every day, strive to win the national tournament, and strive to be number one in Japan, so we appreciate your support!
We look forward to receiving lots of CHEER UP! from you all!
