The Chiba University Men's Softball Club has a total of 31 members, including 26 players and 5 managers. The biggest feature of our club is that it is student-led.
Since there is no coach, the students decide on their own practice menus based on what they have learned from matches, and they also come up with tactics for actual matches.
We practice three times a week, twice a week in the morning and once a week on the weekend. Many students have to work part-time jobs to earn money for their studies or to live alone, so practice time is limited. Within that limited time, we practice hard every day to beat other universities!
Project Objective
As mentioned earlier, our club has limited practice time. In addition, the balls we have been using for many years are wearing out quickly, and the quality of our practice is declining.
The majority of the club members are students from rural areas who live alone, and even if they work hard at part-time jobs, all their money goes to living expenses, making it difficult for them to allocate money to club activities.
The balls you donate will be used for batting practice, pitching practice, and knocking. With your support, we will improve the quality and quantity of our practice more than ever before and aim to win the Kanto Division I League! We look forward to your CHEER UP!
