Meet our team
Our Tottori University Semi-Hardball Baseball Club was founded in 1949, and is a traditional club activity that is celebrating its 75th year this year. We are currently in the second division of the Chugoku District Semi-Hardball Baseball League, and we practice hard every day with the goal of winning the second division in the fall league and being promoted to the first division.
We welcomed new students in April and now have a team of 34 players and 5 managers. Recently, we have had players win individual titles every year.
Last year, four of our players were selected for the Chugoku District Selected Team, and one for the Western Japan Selected Team, so I don't think our player level is low at all. Some of our players also participate in tournaments for these selected teams as managers and umpires, contributing not only to the development of their own teams, but to the development of the entire semi-hardball baseball world.
Project Objective
Due to the nature of Tottori, it is necessary to travel to other teams to play practice games, which costs a lot of money, and the individual expenses are also higher than at other universities. Furthermore, this year, due to the change in bat specifications from next year, there is less money to spend on consumables.
We have been managing with limited club expenses, but we hope that you will use the semi-hardball balls to practice hard and strive to win the league. We would also be grateful if you could use this opportunity to learn more about semi-hardball baseball and support the Tottori University Semi-Hardball Baseball Club and the semi-hardball baseball world.
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
