Meet our team
Konan University Athletic Association Semi-Hardball Baseball Club was founded at the same time as the university was founded in 1951. In the past, the club has accumulated many achievements, including participating in the Kiyose Cup All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball Tournament and the All-Japan University Baseball Championship.
Last year, we came in second at the 54th Kiyose Cup All-Japan University Baseball Tournament, losing in the finals. And this year, we won all of our league matches for the first time in 13 years!
In addition, they have participated in the All-Japan University 9 Block Semi-Hardball Baseball Tournament as the Kansai Selection Team, and the All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball East-West Competition Koshien Tournament as the Western Japan Selection Team. They are a very passionate team that aims to be the best in Japan, participating in national tournaments not only as a team but also as individuals.
In order to erase the disappointment of losing in the Kiyose Cup final last year and not being able to win the championship on the national stage, the team is practicing hard every day and is working hard towards their goal of competing in the national tournament.
Project Objective
For the first time, we have decided to participate in CHEER UP!, a wonderful project that brings together alumni who have built up a glorious history, those who support our club, and current members who are working hard toward their goals.
The semi-hard balls I am requesting to receive this time are essential for daily practice and games. I will always play to the best of my ability, never forgetting my gratitude when I receive the balls.
