Meet our team
This year's team is practicing every day with the goal of ``ketsusho (connecting victories) - an unyielding determination.''
The meaning of "tsunagaka" is to connect the aspirations of our predecessors, to value the vertical and horizontal connections in human relationships, and to value the process of daily practice and private life, which are all connected in order to become number one in Japan.
The uncompromising determination embodies the desire to be number one in Japan, having a firm grasp of the team's style and one's own playing style, and having one's own will.
In 2017, we achieved our long-cherished dream of winning the Intercollegiate Championships for the first time.
In recent years, the team has achieved results such as second place in the 2021 Intercollegiate Championships and third place in the 2022 Intercollegiate Championships.
However, our ultimate goal is to compete on equal terms with the strong teams in the Japanese league and win.
We are a team that continues to challenge ourselves towards our dreams, keeping in mind the five precepts of "courtesy," "self-control," "trust," "progress," and "gratitude."
With this year's slogan, Connected Victories - an unyielding determination, in mind, we will attempt to become Japan's No. 1 for the second time.
Project Objective
The purpose of our IPU Pacific Rim University Women's Softball Club gift project is not to aim to be number one in Japan by ourselves, but to put the thoughts and energy of the local community and supporters into our bats and balls, and to aim to be number one in Japan as TEAM IPU.
We look forward to your CHEER UP!
