Meet our team

Joetsu University of Education's semi-hardball baseball team belongs to the Hokuriku District University Semi-Hardball Baseball League.

In Hokuriku, there are no league games, instead tournaments are held in the spring and autumn, with our results last year being runner-up in the spring and winner in the autumn.

In addition, we have participated in national tournaments, produced many players for the Hokushinetsu Select Team, and achieved the first top four finish in the Hokushinetsu region in a national 9-block tournament, and have grown into a team that can compete nationwide. We do not have a manager or coach, and the players themselves think about how to manage the team and are proactive in their activities.

Project Objective

I decided to participate in this project because I wanted to create an opportunity to connect with the parents, alumni, and local community members who always support us, and because I wanted more people to know about semi-hardball baseball.

We will use the balls that you have kindly provided to us in practice and games. We will work hard every day to show our gratitude to everyone who has kindly provided to us by playing to the best of our ability and participating in national tournaments.
