Meet our team
Soka University's semi-hardball baseball team belongs to the first division of the New Kanto League.
Last year, we won the Kiyose Cup and were able to experience the national stage, but this league is a struggle with a small number of players, and it was frustrating. However, now we have many new students joining the club, and we are feeling a new wind in our activities!
Our activity purpose is "developing people who can lead to society" and we aim to participate in the national tournament! We are also grateful to be able to play baseball at university, and we practice without forgetting to enjoy baseball so that we can convey that feeling to those who support us!
Project Objective
Student baseball requires players to manage many things on their own. This is important for those who want to go out and work, but financially it can be very tough.
In fact, several of our club members have part-time jobs, so it's not an easy life. However, we decided to participate in CHEER UP! in order to somehow support our club members who love baseball so much that they want to continue playing.
The club fees you spend on buying balls at our one-on-one matches can be used for other purposes and to improve the quality of our practice! We will continue to practice hard with your thoughts in mind!
