Meet our team
Meijo University Athletic Association Semi-Hardball Baseball Team is a traditional club founded in 1953.
The team has a long history of success in national tournaments, including finishing as runner-up in the Kiyose Cup All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Selection Tournament in 2003 and making it to the top eight in the All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Championship in 1998.
In recent years, the team has participated in the All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball Championship and the Kiyose Cup All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball Selection Tournament every year. In 2019, the team was the runner-up in the Kiyose Cup 51st All-Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball Selection Tournament. In 2022, the team won the Tokai Region Autumn Division 1 League for the first time since its founding. In addition, many players are produced for the Tokai Selection Team every year, and the team is eager to participate in the national tournament and advance to the top ranks.
We decided to join the club after seeing our seniors compete in the All Japan University Championship four years ago, and for the past three years we have steadily improved our skills, always being in the running to win the Kiyose Cup All Japan University Semi-Hardball Baseball Invitational Tournament.
This year, we are determined to show our true potential at the All Japan Championships, and are working harder than ever before.
Among these, I felt that this CHEERUP was a wonderful project that would bring together alumni who have built up a glorious history, those who support our club, and current members who are working hard towards their goals, so I decided to participate.
The semi-hardball baseballs that we are requesting to be donated this time will be absolutely necessary for practice and matches as the season begins, so when they are donated, we will be filled with gratitude in our hearts as we chase after the white ball with all our might and seize our dreams.
