Meet our team

Rikkyo University Athletic Rugby Club is currently in Group A of the Kanto University Rugby League.

This year marks the club's 100th anniversary.

Under the slogan "BEAT," we set the goal of participating in the University Championship, which determines the best university rugby team in Japan.

Last year, the team achieved its best result in the club's history with two wins in the Kanto Inter-University Championships, and is now one step away from achieving its goal of competing in the university championships.

The players and staff work together as one and practice hard every day at the Fujimi General Ground.

Project Objective

We decided to participate in this project with the desire to become closer to the alumni, parents, supporters, local community, and Rikkyo University students who support us on a daily basis, and to deepen our involvement and connections with them.

We are grateful for the tremendous support we receive from everyone who always supports our club, but we have often heard comments such as, "I don't know what exactly I should bring," "I'm too busy to have time to look for gifts," and "If one person were to bring a gift, the cost would be too much for all the players."

Our team hopes to convey the feelings of those who say, "I want to support you!" directly to the athletes and turn them into strength. We believe that this project will enable us to respond to such voices.

This time, we chose "protein" as our sashimi item. The players of Rikkyo University Rugby Club put in maximum effort every day in terms of training, both individually and as a team. By taking protein after weight training or daily practice, players can build their bodies more effectively, so it is essential for them.

After the summer camp, the Kanto Inter-University Championships will begin, and it is very important to get in shape during this period in order to participate in the "University Championships." We would like to ask for your help and work together with all of you who support us to improve our performance.
